Overview
TWK Agri is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Trainee to join the Corporate Services division in Piet Retief, Mpumalanga. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about Human Resources, recruitment, and building strong organisational support skills. The successful candidate will assist with end-to-end recruitment, HR administration, HRIS record management, and onboarding processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and update job descriptions for new and existing roles
• Advertise vacancies on internal and external job platforms
• Screen CVs and compile accurate, high-quality shortlists for review
• Schedule interviews, participate in interview processes when required, and provide timely feedback to candidates
• Conduct reference checks and MIE background verifications
• Maintain complete and accurate interview documentation for HR approval packs
• Load new employee information onto the SAGE 300 People HR system efficiently and accurately
• Support job profiling initiatives and assist with HR system improvements
• Provide administrative support across various HR functions and projects
Minimum Requirements & Skills
• Matric / Grade 12
• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related field (advantageous)
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong interest in recruitment and talent acquisition
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
• Ability to work under pressure and manage high-volume vacancies
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
• Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Bilingual in Afrikaans & English (advantageous)
• Valid Code 08 Driver’s Licence (advantageous)
