About the Artisan Bridge Learnership Programme 2025
As an Artisan Bridge Learner, you will invest your time, energy, and effort in developing your technical knowledge and practical skills through product training and hands-on experience.
Over a 12-month training period, you will work on Sandvik mining machines — focusing on maintenance, rebuilds, and repairs — preparing you to become a competitive professional in the mining sector.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform duties as outlined in the relevant employment agreement or award.
• Attend and complete assigned work diligently.
• Maintain courteous and professional conduct at all times.
• Follow all lawful instructions and company policies.
• Work towards achieving all competencies in the training plan.
• Participate in required training and assessments.
• Maintain an up-to-date training record and produce it upon request.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must have:
• Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and Science or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum N2 Engineering Studies (compulsory).
• Qualified Millwright (preferred).
• Electricians will also be considered.
• Section 13 or Section 26D Trade Certificate with Proof of Modules/POE/Proof of Apprenticeship (compulsory).
• Medically and physically fit to work in a mining environment.
• Proof of vaccination (attach certificate to your application).
