The P27 Shop Assistant/Cashier role is designed to provide an exceptional shopping experience for customers through effective stock replenishment, accurate merchandising, excellent customer service, and efficient till-point transactions.

Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service
• Deliver outstanding service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Assist customers in locating products and handling enquiries or complaints.
• Maintain a friendly, helpful, and professional attitude at all times.
2. Cashier Duties
• Process cash, card, and Lay-By transactions accurately.
• Handle customer refunds and report any discrepancies to management.
• Perform till balancing and maintain till-point efficiency.
3. Merchandising & Stock Control
• Ensure products are correctly priced, tagged, and displayed.
• Maintain stock availability and presentation standards on the sales floor.
• Keep the store neat and tidy (housekeeping) and stay updated on current promotions.
4. Risk & Loss Prevention
• Tag all products according to company policy.
• Participate in stock takes and report suspicious activity or theft to management.
• Follow all company procedures to reduce shrinkage and risk.
5. Company Culture

• Demonstrate teamwork, integrity, and customer focus in all interactions.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills (fluency in English; other languages advantageous)
• High energy, enthusiasm, and self-motivation
• Target-driven with a tenacious attitude
• Previous retail experience will be an advantage
