Eskom is looking for three (3) General Workers to join its team in Gauteng. The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out a variety of general duties while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to contribute to the success of one of South Africa’s most essential organisations.
Position Overview
Task Grade: T02
Area of Specialisation:
To perform assigned general duties safely and efficiently, while adhering to all company instructions, policies, and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Follow all lawful and reasonable instructions from supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
• Carry out daily tasks according to standard operating procedures.
• Adhere to SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards at all times.
• Assist with manual labour, material handling, and other operational support duties.
• Report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately to management.
• Support colleagues in ensuring smooth workflow and operational efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Additional qualifications such as a valid driver’s licence will be an advantage.
Experience:
• Previous experience in a similar general work or maintenance role will be beneficial.
• Basic understanding of safety and housekeeping standards preferred.

• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks.
