Kopanang Gold Mine is offering Engineering Artisan Learnership opportunities (18.2) for unemployed youth in and around KOSH, Viljoenskroon, Rammulotsi, and Vierfontein. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on skills and qualifications in the mining industry.
Available Learnerships:
• Fitter
• Instrumentation
• Boilermaker
• Rigging
Minimum Requirements:
• Must be a South African Citizen.
• Aged between 18 and 35 years.
• Proof of residence (municipal bill or signed affidavit).
• N2 Qualification or Technical Grade 12 Certificate with:
• Mathematics
• Science
• Relevant trade theory
• Engineering drawing for the specific trade
• Medically fit for underground work.
• Must pass Security Screening.
Programme Benefits:
• Learners will receive a monthly stipend during the programme.
• Practical and theoretical training in the engineering artisan field.
• Career development opportunities (employment is not guaranteed after completion).
Who Can Apply?
• Unemployed youth who have not previously participated in a similar learnership programme.
• Individuals passionate about developing a career in engineering within the mining sector.
