About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for two Artisan Assistants in the HVL Packaging Department based in Clayville. If you have a technical background and a passion for packaging operations, this is your chance to join a dynamic team within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
The Artisan Assistant will be responsible for operating equipment, assisting with product and size changeovers, performing minor maintenance, and ensuring packaging processes run smoothly according to company standards and GMP requirements.
Key Responsibilities
As an Artisan Assistant, your duties will include:
• Operating and monitoring packaging equipment as per production requirements.
• Performing product and size changeovers efficiently.
• Conducting minor equipment adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
• Performing minor fault-finding and basic maintenance on machinery.
• Cleaning, tagging, and storing changeover parts appropriately.
• Washing and cleaning the packaging line and equipment after production runs.
• Reporting any equipment malfunctions to the Team Leader immediately.
• Ensuring the work area is kept clean and compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Participating actively in MBU processes and ensuring product quality meets company standards.
• Reporting all quality-related issues to the Team Leader.
• Following company procedures, safety practices, and quality guidelines.
• Being flexible to work overtime or on other packaging lines when required.
• Attending relevant GMP training sessions as scheduled.
• Assisting with line openings and line clearance when requested.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
• N4 – N6 Engineering Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 0 – 2 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or packaging environment.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
