Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Apprentice, you will:
• Complete the 3–4-year apprenticeship programme according to company and SETA requirements.
• Maintain a safe and healthy working environment by complying with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Assist in locating equipment, spares, and technical documentation.
• Participate in planning, budgeting, and preparing for maintenance and repair tasks.
• Evaluate and repair breakdowns while performing preventive maintenance.
• Gain machine-specific technical competence and continuously improve plant processes and systems.
• Learn to optimise equipment performance and ensure operational efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Apprentice Electrical Programme, you must have:
• Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science.
• A National Technical Certificate (N4) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Advantageous: N5/N6 qualifications in the relevant engineering discipline.
• A strong engineering aptitude and willingness to learn.
