Air Products South Africa is offering an exciting Mechanical Fitter Apprenticeship Programme at our Kempton Park facility. We are looking for vibrant and motivated individuals who are passionate about engineering and eager to build a career in the gas and manufacturing industry.
This programme will give you hands-on training, mentorship, and real workplace experience to develop the skills needed for a successful future in mechanical fitting.
Key Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Fitter Apprentice, you will:
• Participate in training sessions and practical learning.
• Assist with engineering tasks under supervision of qualified professionals.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered, candidates must:
• Have a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
• Hold an N5/N6 Mechanical Engineering-related qualification.
• Be a South African Citizen.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Show genuine interest in the gas/manufacturing industry.
• Be a team player who values collaboration.
• Not be registered for any other learnership or apprenticeship programme.
• Reside within a 40km radius of Kempton Park (e.g. Tembisa, Kempton Park, Germiston).
