DESCRIPTION
Assist the Electrical team by attending to incidents reported via the Control and Helpdesk Administrator. The role includes electrical maintenance and installations, fault finding, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Objectives
• Plan and prepare for wiring, connection, testing, inspecting, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical installations and control systems.
• Perform planning and preparation for electrical work under supervision.
• Undertake tasks independently but under the supervision of a qualified person.
• Assist and observe a qualified electrician during installations, wiring, and connection of electrical equipment and control systems.
• Install, wire, and connect systems under direct supervision.
• Assist in and undertake testing and inspection processes for electrical installations and systems.
• Assist in the commissioning of electrical systems under supervision.
• Observe and assist a qualified bricklayer in construction-related activities (superstructures).
• Carry out maintenance of electrical systems and control systems under the guidance of a qualified electrician.
