Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Desired Education: N2 Trade Theory
• 1 year of working experience in the electrical field
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to pass RW’s K53 test
Primary Duties
• Perform minor electrical maintenance tasks in the plant and workshop
• Assist artisans with technical tasks, such as testing equipment and fault-finding
• Carry out minor electrical installations
• Repair faulty plugs and lights
• Test and repair electrical equipment
• Clean electrical equipment
• Complete job cards
• Perform minor repairs on LT cables
• Complete all required defect reports and work instructions
• Ensure tools and spare parts are readily available
Knowledge
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to complete job cards accurately
• Problem-solving skills
• Understanding of electrical work instructions and procedures
