The ideal candidate would be responsible for:
- Installations and maintenance of plant equipment.
- Fault finding, inspection on electrical equipment and electrical panel maintenance.
- Scheduled preventative maintenance plant equipment and daily checks.
- Attending to breakdowns and working shifts.
- Implementing of 20 Keys/ HACCP / Risk Control and apply general housekeeping
- MV switching when needed.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum N4 qualification.
- N6 Electrical and Wiremans certificate advantageous
- PLC and VSDs certificate and experience advantageous
- Be in possession of a trade certificate as an Electrician or Millwright.
- Have at least 5 years relevant experience as an Artisan.
- Be prepared to work shifts, weekends and overtime.
- Must be prepared to do standby when needed.
- Experience in a FMCG / Poultry Plant will be an added advantage.
- Medium voltage switching will be an added advantage.
- Be prepared to work shifts including working extra hours, standby and call outs.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.
- Must have own reliable transport.
- Computer literacy.
