Technical Assistant – (1 Post)
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 – 2 years relevant industry experience in an
audio visual, Access control and fire alarms environment • Computer literacy - A valid driver’s licence
- Must be physically fit and able bodied
- Must be willing to work overtime and standby
Key Performance Areas - Receiving and processing applications in order to ensure that efficient and quality procedures are applied in terms of the City’s Strategic Objectives.
- Ensuring that all applications comply with the approved tariff structure and are processed within the statutory timeframes.
- Liaising with external (public) and internal departments in order to ensure that the applications comply with the relevant regulations and requirements.
- Advising applicants on the technical requirements of the relevant legislation.
- Administering of application process by relaying progress on submissions.
