Goldi Chicken – Electrician

The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

• Electrical maintenance and project work in the Processing and Utilities plants;
• Attend to all unscheduled interruptions resulting from breakdowns;
• Attend to all planned preventative maintenance
• Installation and maintenance of processing equipment;
• Implementing of 20 Keys/ HACCP/ Risk Control and apply general housekeeping rules;
• Starting and stopping generators.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum N3 qualification;
• Be in possession of a trade certificate as an Electrician;
• Have at least 5 years’ experience as an Artisan;
• Own reliable transport;
• Experience in a Poultry Plant will be an added advantage;
• Must be able to work overtime, shifts, weekends and public holidays;
• Must be a team player but able to work with minimal supervision;
• Ability to work in a highly pressurized environment and deadline driven.
• PLC experience
