As an ArtisanElectrician, you will be responsible for the execution of Maintenance activities during house maintenance or special interventions. The main task is the carry out maintenance of housing activities safely as well as testing and commissioning of work carried prior to handover to occupants. To maintain the sewage plant and pump stations.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
•Maintenance and fault-finding residential houses, sewage pump stations, and sewage plant.;
•Ensures the upkeep of maintenance tools and equipment;
•Interprets and coordinates pre-work with regards to repairs, planned and predictive maintenance;
•Accesses any area safely to perform necessary maintenance;
•Performs safety inspections of equipment and assesses risks on equipment;
•Maintains a clean and safe worksite;
•Coordinates activities associated with contractors.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
•Must have a minimum of 2 years in a maintenance environment;
•Maintenance and fault-finding residential houses, sewage pump stations, and sewage plant, fixed plants as well as medium voltage switchgear.
Qualifications for this role are:
•N3 Technical Certificate external candidates and N2 for internal candidates;
•Valid Electricidal trade test;
•Grade 12.
