Transnet SOC Ltd is recruiting and inviting suitably qualified individuals to submit applications for the 2024 Apprenticeship Programmes in various trades. The programme aligns with the Transnet Business Strategy and aims to place learners in specific areas within Transnet based on their academic background, career aspirations, and business requirements.

Electrician: Cambridge, EC
Electromechanician: Bloemfontein, FS
Electrical Fitter: Swartkops, EC
Wagon Fitter: Uitenhage, EC; Saldanah, WC
Turner Machinist: Uitenhage, EC; Bloemfontein, FS; Saltriver, WC
Diesel Mechanic: Durban, KZN
Structural Plater: Uitenhage, EC; Bloemfontein, FS; Saltriver, WC
Mechanical Fitter: Durban, KZN; Saltriver, WC
Qualifications and Experience:
NTC2 with 4 relevant trade subjects all passed, or
Technical National Certificate Vocational Level 4 or higher with 7 subjects passed, or
Technical Matric Certificate, including Pure Mathematics and Physical Science, passed with relevant trade theory passed.
