The successful incumbent will be responsible for assisting an artisan on the day to day duties.
Job requirements
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent.
N2 Mechanical Engineering Qualification will be advantageous. - A willingness to work shifts and overtime, incl. weekends and holidays where necessary.
- 2 Years experience in a similar position in a chicken abattoir will be an advantage.
- Forklift licence will be an advantage.
Duties and responsibilities
- Will be the assistant to the artisan.
- Will be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and sorting of the workshop.
- Must be available on weekends for maintenance work.
- Must be able to work shifts.
- Ability to work under pressure.
